Miley Cyrus Performs “Karen Don’t Be Sad” And “Twinkle Song” On ‘Saturday Night Live’: Watch
Miley Cyrus hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time tonight (October 3) and also doubled up as the musical guest. The 22-year-old showed off her (underrated) vocal chops with an understated rendition of Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz ditty “Karen Don’t Be Sad.” While the performance was subtle and authentic, the same can’t be said for the pop diva’s outfit. She rocked a small mountain of wigs and a nude bodysuit.
The “Hands Of Love” songstress retured later in the show to belt out “Twinkle Song,” a self-penned and produced piano ballad with a memorable lyrics about David Bowie looking like Gumby. She performed the song at a piano covered in a white, woolen blanket and multiple pics of her deceased dog Floyd. It’s possibly the most Miley Cyrus thing to happen on the small screen since she pulled out the foam finger at the 2013 MTV VMAs.
After the performance, Miley announced a limited run of club shows. See all the dates below:
