Annie’s “WorkX2”: Listen To The ’90s-Sounding ‘Endless Vacation’ EP Track
Given the audio cassette-style artwork for Annie‘s upcoming Endless Vacation EP (out October 16) — plus the retro house vibes of recent tracks “Cara Mia” and “Dadaday” — it should be no surprise that the latest cut to premiere, “WorkX2,” features a similar groove straight out of the early 1990s.
The strobe-ready pop-dance track was written by Annie with her frequent collaborators Hannah Robinson and Richard X, while the latter handled the production. And dare we say it, this might be the best of the bunch so far off the Norwegian singer’s latest release.
The only track we’ve yet to hear now is “Out Of Reach.” Until then, give “WorkX2” a listen below.
