Ghost Town Dissect Bullying On New Track “Mean Kids”: Idolator Premiere

Ghost Town have always done things a little differently. The band came together with the goal of effecting change through their music and made sure they reached as many people as possible by giving away a free song every week. (A habit they still maintain). As such, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the second cut from the Los Angeles-based trio’s Evolution LP (due November 6) tackles a serious subject.

“What a lot of people fail to realize is that there is so much pain involved in bullying on both ends of the spectrum for both the bully and the victim,” frontman Kevin Ghost tells Idolator. “Getting to the root of this pain is one thing we are addressing in ‘Mean Kids’. We’ve been there just like everyone else has at some point in their lives.” Listen to the thought-provoking, but still extremely catchy, electronicore anthem below.
