Taylor Swift’s “Wildest Dreams” Gets A Dreamy R3hab Remix: Listen
Taylor Swift released a dance remix of new single “Wildest Dreams” last night (October 15) and, not surprisingly, it’s already top 10 on iTunes. The pretty ballad has been overhauled for the dance floor by R3hab. The Dutch DJ, who recently put his spin on Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have My Money,” does an immaculate job of incorporating the sweeping romance of the original into his dreamy house remix. In fact, I think I prefer this version.
Produced by Max Martin and Shellback, “Wildest Dreams” is the fifth single from Taylor’s chart-conquering 1989 LP. And despite a little controversy surrounding the video, the track has already peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100. Given the song’s steady climb on pop radio (it’s currently at number three behind Justin Bieber’s “What Do You Mean?” and The Weeknd’s “The Hills”) and the popularity of this remix, expect it to climb even higher.
