Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez’s Surprise “Strong” Duet Surfaces Online: Listen
Justin Bieber is shaking up the Internet once again — and this time the focus is not on his body parts! The singer riled up his fans when “Strong,” a duet with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, premiered on Drake‘s OVO Radio last night (October 16).
The two young artists may not be together anymore, but this stripped-down mid-tempo ballad still echoes feelings of a longing love. “There’s no sophistication in my lack of patience/ I’m just wishing you were better at communication/ As I sit here steady waiting/ Wishing that you would call my name in,” Selena coos on the hazy, acoustic guitar-laden track.
The heartfelt lyrics and falsettos may just be a reflection of the former couple’s thoughts of wanting to work their relationship out, yet knowing it won’t be best for either of them. No word if “Strong” will end up being on Justin’s forthcoming album.
