Adele Teases New Music In A British TV Commercial: Watch
The talk of pending Adele music has been buzzing throughout the industry for months, and today (October 18) a snippet of a new tune has just about everyone freaking out!
In a television commercial during the UK’s X Factor, unknowing viewers were treated to a brief preview of a brand new Adele track that follows her signature sweeping ballad vibes as she croons: “They say time’s supposed to heal ya/ But I ain’t done much healing.” The commercial ends right before you can utter a gasp, but it sounds promising.
After the commercial aired, OneRepublic (whose own Ryan Tedder worked on 21) tweeted “Adele :)” — which further confirms the singer’s new tune. There is still no word of when her third LP will drop, but there are rumors that it will arrive in November. Watch the television preview via SPIN below.
