Drake Shows Off His Dancing Skills In “Hotline Bling” Video: Watch
Drake‘s “Hotline Bling” single has been receiving endless spins ever since it debuted on OVO Sound Radio earlier this summer, and now the official video has arrived tonight (October 19) on Apple Music — naturally!
Shot by Director X, the clip is minimal but effective as it shows Drake busting awkward (but still kind of cool) moves in a reflective box that would get color theory fans in a tizzy. There are also a bevy of curvy girls on deck to accompany him with the slick dancing.
The moody yet extremely catchy tune that bears the question “Should I really call my ex right now?” has been covered by many artists — including Sam Smith, Alessia Cara and Erykah Badu. It is currently sitting at the No. 2 spot on the Billboard 100 (The Weeknd is still dominating with “The Hills”), but with the new video out Drake may finally receive his first-ever chart-topper he has always been vying for.
