Justin Bieber is #sorrynotsorry about releasing his new “Sorry” single a day early! The pop star has been teasing the tune for days with help from Skrillex and Michelle Obama, and today (October 22) it has officially arrived in the form of a video starring a troupe of dancing ladies.

Co-produced by Skrillex and Blood Diamonds and co-written by Justin Tranter and Julia Michael (Gwen Stefani‘s “Used To Love You”Selena Gomez‘ Revival LP), “Sorry” follows a similar tropical pop route of previous single “What Do You Mean?” and adds just a few more spritz of sweet, beachy and dancehall-inspired notes. “Is it too late now to say sorry?/’Cause I’m missing more than just your body,” Bieber smoothly croons over the echoey synths as he tries to apologize for a failed relationship — that sounds familiar…

“What Do You Mean?” became the singer’s first No. 1 single, and “Sorry” is a strong enough follow-up to continue that trend. Take a listen to Justin Bieber’s new tune below, and look out for the Purpose album on November 13.
