One Direction Added To 2015 American Music Awards Performers Lineup
The 2015 American Music Awards is already a major awards ceremony on its own, but it always gets given more massive when a certain boy band appears on the roster. Yes, One Direction are heading to the AMAs once again as they have been added to the performance lineup.
The AMAs revealed on Twitter today (October 27) that One Direction will return to the stage to perform their new single “Perfect.” 1D joins previously announced acts like Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds Of Summer and Carrie Underwood. Jennifer Lopez, who will also host the show, is also set to perform.
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the nominations pack with six under her belt including Artist Of The Year. The Weeknd comes in second place with five nods of his own. Look out for this year’s AMAs when it broadcasts live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on November 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC. View the awards ceremony’s Twitter announcement below.
