MØ Channels M.I.A. For “Kamikaze” Video: Watch
MØ has premiered the video for her Diplo-assisted single “Kamikaze.” The Danish singer channels the hyper-local cultural immersion style of M.I.A. (does that make it cultural appropriation appropriation?) as well as some of the “Bad Girls” stunt driving for the visual.
The visual was shot in Kiev, Ukraine, and was directed by Truman & Cooper. It shows MØ raging, dancing, racing and breaking shit with townspeople in a variety of masks and outfits, and features what’s gotta be the simplest dance routine ever.
