Elle King Performed “Ex’s & Oh’s” On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ And Kicked Ass (As Usual)
Elle King is arguably the break-out artist of 2015. “Ex’s & Oh’s” arrived way back in February and slowly seduced listeners the old-fashioned way — through constant touring and word of mouth. And it just continues to gain momentum. The rock anthem reached a new peak of number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week and should climb a lot higher given its current ranking on iTunes (number four) and soaring popularity with radio programmers.
The 26-year-old performed the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night (October 26) and kicked ass, as usual. Elle’s raspy vocals were on-point and she exuded charisma from every pore — particularly when delivering the song’s saucy lyrics. The Love Stuff diva’s bawdy image and raw sound make her a breath of fresh air at a time when pop stars are all starting to look and sound alike. Watch her belt out “Ex’s & Oh’s” up top.
