Miss Piggy Raps Iconic Reese Witherspoon Diss “I’m Sorry” On ‘The Muppets’: Watch

If you’ve skipped out on watching ABC’s The Muppets so far, you’re truly missing out on one of the most tongue-in-cheek, slightly-dark, slyly adult half-hours on television each week. Case in point: last night’s episode, “Walk The Swine,” featured Reese Witherspoon as a guest on show-within-a-show Up Late With Miss Piggy. The big problem is that Reese apparently beat out Miss Piggy for the Oscar-winning role of June Carter in Walk The Line 10 years prior, and so there’s a long-standing grudge hanging over the two.

On air, Reese invites Piggy to help out at a Habitat For Humanity construction site, but when the pair later get into a scuffle and knock over the frame of the house they’re supposed to be building — mind you, in front of some lingering paparazzi — Piggy feels forced to make a public apology to her longtime rival.

Miss Piggy being Miss Piggy, she invites Reese back onto her nighttime talk show and, well…watch above.
