We make the case for Coldplay's third album on its 10th anniversary.

Coldplay fans will be pumped about this news: the UK band has teased new music from their forthcoming A Head Full Of Dreams album! They uploaded a 30-second preview on social media today (November 4), which marks the first official taste of the long-awaited project.

Hash-tagged with #AOAL (the song’s title — take your guesses on what that is!) and #AHFOD (for the album title), the teaser is filled with worldly guitar riffs, commanding drums and soft vocals that are accompanied with bright, geometric animation.

A Head Full Of Dreams was first revealed last winter as possibly being the band’s final project, and an ominous poster popped up in London that featured the date “December 4” — which could possibly be the album’s release date. There is no official confirmation if the follow-up to 2014’s Ghost Stories will drop soon, but at least fans can be assured that a new single is definitely on its way.

Give Coldplay’s new track preview a spin below.
