Sia’s Minimalistic “Alive” Video Is All About Kicking Ass: Watch
After sharing an ominous teaser last week, Sia has now released the official video for new single “Alive” today (November 5).
Co-directed by Sia and Daniel Askill (the man who is also behind the “Chandelier” video), it centers around a karate outfit-rocking and black + white wig-donning young girl in an abandoned warehouse. The singer herself doesn’t make an appearance, but she isn’t needed as the focus is on the girl’s seriously intense martial arts moves that will liven your spirits (no pun intended).
Fans can look out for This Is Acting on January 29, just far enough for the masses to slow down on the pending Adele chart mania. Sia will keep busy in the next few weeks, as she is booked to perform on Saturday Night Live and the Shining A Light concert next month. She recently dropped new tune “Bird Set Free” — but before we get a visual for that, you can watch her new “Alive” video up top!
