"Adventure of a Lifetime" gets reviewed and rated by all four Idolator editors.

France’s NRJ Music Awards 2015 honored this year’s biggest names and singles in pop.

Newcomer appeared confident as she, Major Lazer and DJ Snake reenacted their Bollywood-inspired video for summer hit “Lean On” live. Justin Bieber danced his way through “What Do You Mean” before he received an NRJ Honor. (Mostly, he seemed grateful to have gotten another performance promoting Purpose out of the way.)

But the NRJ Awards was also an opportunity to check out the songs that will dominate the charts for the rest of 2015: Coldplay‘s new single “Adventure of a Lifetime” got its live debut. So did Adele‘s “Hello,” if you don’t count the Adele at the BBC preview from earlier this week. The 25 single is a devastating listen, though Adele’s performance was triumphant, as if she couldn’t be happier to say goodbye to whoever inspired it.

Watch Adele’s performance up top, then see the other highlights below.
