“Only You” by Yaz (or Yazoo, depending on what country you live in) is hands-down one of the most beautiful pop ballads every recorded, and quite frankly, when we saw the tracklist for Kylie Minogue‘s forthcoming holiday album Kylie Christmas, we didn’t realize her “Only You” was that “Only You” — nor did we know James Corden has quite a lovely voice!
The Kylie-loving world may or may not have let out a collective groan when it saw UK funnyman/BRIT Awards host/US nighttime talk show newcomer Corden was included on Minogue’s festive album. But, no — this works, and it actually works very, very well.
