Azealia Banks Under Investigation For Allegedly Beating Up A Bouncer
Completely non-confrontational, conflict-averse sometime rapper Azealia Banks is under investigation by the LAPD for criminal battery following an incident at a nightclub in October, according to TMZ.
Banks was reportedly at Los Angeles club Break Room 86 with her “crew” and security asked her to leave after she became “unruly” (unheard of!). TMZ says that Banks then approached the front door and tried to pull the fire alarm (reasonable!), at which point a security guard intervened, leading to Banks and her group “jumping” the bouncer.
There’s security footage of the alleged incident, which certainly seems to corroborate that story.
This news comes just as Banks announced her remaining tour dates have been postponed.
