Gwen Stefani, Coldplay & More To Perform At American Music Awards 2015
The 2015 American Music Awards is just 11 days away, but the major music event continues to reveal even more additions to their performance lineup! The latest artists to join the already-extensive roster are Gwen Stefani, Coldplay, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and Pentatonix.
The Twitter announcements that were unveiled today (November 11) state Gwen will perform “Used To Love You,” Coldplay is set to make their U.S. television debut with new single “Adventure Of A Lifetime” and the rap/sing duo will premiere a brand new tune. As for Pentatonix? The a capella group plan to sing a rendition of the Star Wars score alongside a full symphony orchestra.
The four new performers join recently revealed Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas and Walk The Moon, as well as One Direction, Selena Gomez, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Lopez (the Latina diva will also host the show).
Unsurprisingly, Taylor Swift leads the nominations pack with six under her belt including Artist Of The Year. The Weeknd comes in second place with five nods of his own. Look out for this year’s AMAs when it broadcasts live from Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater on November 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
