Loretta Lynn Unveils The Cover And Tracklist Of ‘Full Circle’

Loretta Lynn will release her first studio album in more than a decade on March 4, 2016. Full Circle is due to arrive 12 years after the release of Van Lear Rose — the enduring diva’s Jack White-produced comeback LP, which won two Grammys. While the 84-year-old’s latest wasn’t produced by a rock star, it has serious country pedigree. The project was helmed by Patsy Lynn Russell (her daughter) and John Carter Cash (Johnny’s son).

As the title suggest, Full Circle takes the listener on a journey through Loretta’s life with interpretations of Appalachian folk songs she learned as a child, revised versions of classic tracks (the country legend overhauls the first song she ever recorded, “Whispering Sea”) and new material including collaborations with Willie Nelson (“Lay Me Down”) and Elvis Costello (“Everything It Takes”). See the full tracklist below.

Loretta Lynn’s Full Circle tracklist:

1. Whispering Sea (Introduction) 2. Whispering Sea 3. Secret Love 4. Who’s Gonna Miss Me? 5. Black Jack David 6. Everybody Wants To Go To Heaven 7. Always On My Mind 8. Wine Into Water 9. In The Pines 10. Band Of Gold 11. Fist City 12. I Never Will Marry 13. Everything It Takes (featuring Elvis Costello) 14. Lay Me Down (featuring Willie Nelson)
