‘SNL”s “First Got Horny 2 U” Sketch Is The Perfect ’00s Boy Bands Spoof: Watch

Saturday Night Live‘s November 14 episode featured a sketch that should make every ’90s baby swoon and maybe gag a little.

The group, featuring SNL guest host Elizabeth Banks, is Infinity +5, dressed in all white as Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC did back when we referred to the year 2000 as Y2K. (Bonus points for the Chris Kirkpatrick-style braids.) The song is “First Got Horny 2 U,” which recalls this carbon copy of a carbon copy of a Boyz II Men ballad, otherwise known as “Because of You” by 98 Degrees. Yet Infinity +5’s taste in men turn out to be wider ranging than any of these lineups, with, erm, loving nods to Carson DalyTaylor Hanson and, erm, the teenaged son from Dinosaurs.

In short, “First Got Horny 2 U” is the perfect ’00s boy bands spoof. Watch below.
