Kylie & Dannii Minogue Heat Up Christmas With Disco Anthem “100 Degrees”
“100 Degrees” is the campiest Christmas anthem of 2015 (or possibly ever). Kylie Minogue and pop star sister Dannii Minogue dive into disco on the festive floorfiller, which sounds like a Chic classic from 1977 crossed with a track from the Aussie diva’s 2000 album Light Years. In other words, it’s more fabulous than a vault of feather boas and sequins. And it’s being released as the lead single from seasonal LP Kylie Christmas — in Australia, at least. (She’s going with “Only You” in the rest of the world).
The video arrived online today (November 17) and it is comprised of footage from the recording session. Which means you get to see the sisters dancing around the studio in festive attire and catch glimpses of an orchestra laying down the instrumental. There’s even a live performance on the horizon. Kylie and Dannii will perform their disco duet on the season finale of X Factor Australia on November 24. Watch below.
