Spotify has released its annual streaming stats, which reveal Drake was the service’s most streamed artist in the world for 2015 with 1.8 billion streams across 46 million listeners. Rihanna was the most streamed female, landing more total listeners than Drake with 57 million, but their (Pon de) replay factor wasn’t as strong as that of Drake’s stans, resulting in over a billion streams. If you zoom in on US numbers, Rihanna drops to third, behind Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé.

The Weeknd had Spotify’s most streamed album of the year, with Beauty Behind The Madness garnering 60 million listeners. Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late came in second globally, first in US.

The top song of 2015 was also the song of the summerMajor Lazer‘s “Lean On.” The hit was listened to a staggering 540 million times across the globe, making it Spotify’s most popular track of all time. In America, though, “Lean On” topped out at #5, with Fetty Wap‘s “Trap Queen” getting the most streams stateside.
