Adam Lambert & Leona Lewis Perform “Girl Crush” At CMT Artists Of The Year: Watch
Adam Lambert and Leona Lewis make amazing soulful pop music in their own right, but what happens when they two decide to go country? The artists tried their hand at the unexpected genre at the 2015 CMT Artists of the Year event that aired live last night (December 2) from Nashville, TN.
The singers performed their version of Little Big Town‘s 2014 single “Girl Crush” (which caused some controversy due to the assumed lyrics about two women), and the cover highlighted Lambert’s charming vocals and Leona’s sultry demeanor — it was a perfect match!
Lambert is currently promoting “Another Lonely Night” off his third studio album The Original High, while Leona dropped her I Am LP back in September. Get into the CMT performance below!
