Carrie Underwood & James Corden Sing Wham!’s “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go” For “Carpool Karaoke”: Watch
The Late Late Show with James Corden is quickly becoming one of our favorite late night shows — and it’s all due to the host’s incredibly entertaining “Carpool Karaoke”segment! Artists like Mariah Carey, A$AP Rocky, Rod Stewart and Justin Bieber have all cruised through Los Angeles with Corden in the past, and the latest to ride shotgun is Carrie Underwood.
The country starlet and the late night host kicked off the fun segment by belting out her “Smoke Break” tune, before jamming out to previous hits like “Before He Cheats” and “Jesus, Take the Wheel.” Corden also gave Carrie a bit of a challenge: to hold a note for as long as she could. But best highlights were the pair shopping for cowboy attire (“The boots are our roots,” according to the singer) and a cover of Wham!‘s 1984 hit “Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.”
Carrie’s Storyteller album was released on October 23 via Arista Nashville. The singer will kick off her 2016 World Tour on January 30. Get into her fun carpool karaoke with Corden up top!
