Did Miley Cyrus Just Retire From Red Carpets?
Bill Murray‘s holiday special, A Very Murray Christmas, premieres on Netflix Friday, and Miley Cyrus is one of several celebs appearing in the project. Last night (December 2), she took a break from her Dead Petz tour to appear at the premiere, which is only notable because if she’s to be believed, it may have marked her retirement from the red carpet.
Miley posted a photo showing her posing with an ugly Christmas sweater at the premiere, and captioned it “#mylastredcarpet 4eva.”
Cyrus has become one of the main draws of any big event’s red carpet, so it’ll be interesting to see if this does actually mark the end of her red carpet presence for a while (if so, pour one out). I’m sure plenty of stars would love to bow out of those mindless pose-and-turn spectacles, so maybe she’ll get the ball rolling.
