An Obsessed Lana Del Rey Fan Was Arrested After Squatting In The Singer’s Garage
For whatever reason, Lana Del Rey has one of the most passionate fanbases in all of pop. But a 19-year-old took it too far when he was arrested after he was found camping out in the garage of her Malibu home, according to Entertainment Tonight. Thankfully, the home is under construction so Lana herself never encountered the squatter, who was spotted by construction workers. The man initially fled before cops arrived, leaving behind notes and a laptop with material in which he claimed he has a “spiritual connection” to the singer.
Police later apprehended him and a detective tells ET he is “clearly infatuated with Lana.” As it happens, Lana moved to this Malibu property in part to give herself some distance from fans and photogs. So now you know why that “High By The Beach” video ends the way it does.
