Iggy Azalea Invites Erykah Badu’s Daughters To Her Next Concert
Iggy Azalea and Erykah Badu have seemingly buried the hatchet. The R&B legend apologized during a Twitter Q&A for throwing shade at the 2015 Soul Train Awards, saying: “I want to do this for my daughters, I want to apologize to Iggy Azalea because she’s one of their favorite artists.” The But You Caint Use My Phone diva then hilariously offered to let the Australian rapper take over parental duties.
In further proof that I-G-G-Y has mellowed (a lot), the “Fancy” hitmaker tweeted Erykah a thank you note. “Hey Erykah – tell the kids I’m a big fan of mom, even if we don’t agree where to file my music in their iTunes folders,” the 25-year-old wrote. “I’m gonna announce a new tour soon, if they do great in class there is officially an open invitation extended to them and friends with good report cards to come and enjoy a show anytime.” See the refreshingly mature exchange below.
