Kylie Minogue And Mumford & Sons Cover Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You”: Watch
While Mariah Carey is rightly regarded as the Queen of Christmas, Kylie Minogue is giving her a run for her money in Australia and Europe. It’s only fitting then that the Aussie pop icon pay homage to Mimi with a flawless cover of enduring yuletide classic “All I Want For Christmas Is You” — a task she completes with a little help from folk band Mumford & Sons on UK television show TFI Friday.
From Kylie’s gold sequined dress to Mumford & Sons lightening up a little, there’s so much to love about this performance. Particularly the unexpectedly flawlessly high note at the end. The Kiss Me Once diva has promoted seasonal LP Kylie Christmas with a couple of high profile performances and a wonderfully retro remix of “Every Day’s Like Christmas” courtesy of ’80s hitmakers Stock Aitken & Waterman.
