Rihanna Is Still Not Finished With Her ‘ANTI’ Album, According To Sia
Brace yourselves for today’s news in Rihanna: the Bad Gal is still not finished with her ANTI album (surprise, surprise). Well, according to Sia. The “Alive” singer stopped by Jo Whiley on BBC Radio 2 over the weekend to touch on Rih’s progress with the LP.
“The other night she came over and listened to half of 25 songs I played her because she’s still looking for songs for her new album,” Sia revealed. “She was there to listen to songs and see if there was anything that she was into. It was a business meeting for sure. She took four [songs], but I don’t know if they’ll end up [on the album].”
Sia recently stated in a Rolling Stone interview that two tracks off her This Is Acting album (“Reaper” and “Cheap Thrills”) were also meant for Rihanna.
Rumors were floating that ANTI would drop on November 27 as a Tidal exclusive and December 4 for all other platforms. A few weeks later and there is still no concrete release date, but she gave an ominous and exhausting “soon” update at the Diamond Ball.
