It’s now down to Hayley Williams, as far as original Paramore member go. On the band’s Facebook, it was announced that bassist Jeremy Davis, one of the now-duo’s founding members, has departed.

“Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us,” states the band’s Facebook update. “To be honest, this has been really painful. After taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will.”

Davis and Williams formed Paramore with brothers Josh and Zac Farro in 2004, in Franklin, Tennessee. Guitarist Taylor York, the other current remaining member of the band along with Williams, later joined in 2007. The Farro brothers departed in December 2010 amid some controversy with regards to the reasoning for their exit.

“We’re hopeful for Paramore’s future and we’re also excited for what Jeremy’s going to do next,” the band’s Facebook post continues. “Thank you all for your support and your belief in us. It’s kept us going. We will see some of you really soon on Parahoy. If you’re not coming on the cruise, we will still see you in 2016.”

Paramore’s most recent studio album was their 2013 self-titled one, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 and contained the Top 10 single “Ain’t It Fun.”
