Watch Carly Rae Jepsen Do “Last Christmas” On ‘The Late Late Show’
Carly Rae Jepsen‘s E•MO•TION was, unequivocally, one of the best pop (and overall) albums of 2015. It was also, unequivocally, a commercial bust, because the world is a cruel and unfair cesspool overrun by mouthbreathers with horrible taste. But Carly says she’s totally fine with the album failing to make a dent in the charts. Which is great! Because nobody remembers the numbers. Sure, we love talking about the numbers and comparing the numbers, but nobody actually remembers them. We just look them up on Wikipedia or Billboard. What we remember is the music. And the music of E•MO•TION will be remembered.

What probably won’t be remembered is her recent cover of Wham!‘s “Last Christmas.” Which is fine! It’s a nice little novelty for the 2015 holidays. So watch Jepsen’s playful performance of the song on the festive Late Late Show stage last night (December 16).
