Tickets To Adele’s 2016 North American Tour Sold Out In Minutes
If there were any doubts that Adele is the biggest pop star on the planet, they were erased when tickets to all 56 dates of her 2016 North American Tour sold out in minutes yesterday (December 17). Ticketmaster’s server couldn’t handle the demand and many fans were left fuming as they spent hours trying to secure a seat only to miss out. To add insult to injury, tickets on reseller sites like StubHub are selling for thousands of dollars.
The Brit’s 2016 North American Tour kicks off on July 5 in St Paul, Minnesota and crisscrosses the continent before winding up in Mexico City on November 15. There are already six shows a piece in major cities like Los Angeles and New York, but you can’t help but think that more dates will be added soon. If not, you might have to mortgage your house to see Adele perform “Hello,” “When We Were Young” and “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)!” See some frustrated/funny tweets from fans below.
