Meek Mill was found guilty of violating his parole various times yesterday (December 18) in a Philadelphia court. Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley (who stated “How many times am I supposed to give him a second chance?”) ordered him not to work or perform before the February 5 sentencing where he faces potential prison time.

The rapper, whose real name is Robert Williams, gave an emotional testimony where he claimed his “life is on the line” and also cited girlfriend Nicki Minaj who previously testified on behalf of him. “I’m not a gangsta. I’m not a criminal. I have my queen, Nicki now. I’m trying to do better and feel like I can be the best rapper alive,” Meek said.

Judge Brinkley also ruled the rapper cannot leave a five-county area around Philadelphia or perform at any event in or outside the city. Meek was first found violating his parole (it came from being convicted of gun possession and drug dealing in 2008 where he was sentenced to 11 to 23 months in prison) after scheduling concert performances — which also included his 2015 AMAs performance.
