Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Your Type” is one of 2015’s honestly perfect pure-pop songs, and Skylar Spence decided to put his own spin in a remix that premiered today (December 18) on Billboard.
The New York-born producer elevates the sticky jam vibes of the original tune and adds in blips of funky percussion, fantastical disco sonic influences and light-as-a-feather melodies that will make you fall in love with the song all over again in a fresh new way.
E·MO·TION was released on August 21 via Schoolboy Records/Interscope and September 25 in the UK. It features “I Really Like You,” “Run Away With Me,” “All That”and the ’80s-inspired title track.
