Demi Lovato's 'Confident': Album Review
Demi Lovato mixes it up with varying results on new album 'Confident.'

Here’s some good news for Demi Lovato! The Disney diva’s sexy anthem “Cool For The Summer” has been certified platinum by the RIAA. They handed her the plaque at Jingle Ball last night (December 17) also announced that new single “Confident” just went gold. The former peaked at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 in later summer, while the title track of her fifth LP recently landed at number 21. (It’s still climbing at pop radio, so it could go higher).

With the first two singles from Confident performing well on the charts, it will be interesting to see what Demi goes with next. She has promoted “Stone Cold” with an acoustic video and live performances, so it’s a pretty safe bet. The ballad would also be a nice change of pace after two dance/pop anthems. Iggy Azalea collaboration “Kingdom Come” probably has the most buzz online, but the Aussie rapper previously confirmed that it wont be a single.
