Janet Jackson Postpones Unbreakable World Tour Until Spring 2016
Get well soon, Janet Jackson. While her Unbreakable World Tour was originally scheduled to pick back up in January, the pop icon announced on December 24 that she has postponed her live trek until spring 2016. “I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon,” she says on Twitter.
Janet did not specify where or why she is to have surgery; however, she did say that all tickets will be honored “in a special way” once her new tour schedule is announced.
Janet launched her Unbreakable World Tour in August. Soon she added a second North American leg, then a third. But she also pulled out of the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September, reportedly because of an ear issue, and was forced to postpone two dates in October — “doctor’s orders.”
Below, see Bruno Mars‘ tweet offering Janet well wishes.
