Pop Art: The Most Explicit Single And Album Covers Of 2015

Pop stars really pushed the boundaries in 2015. Nudes became the norm on social media, The Game ushered in Eggplant Friday with his eye-popping “meat prints” and Miley Cyrus rocked a giant dildo (and nothing else) on her Milky Milk Milk Tour. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise then that the trend crossed over to single and album art with nudity reigning supreme, and soft-porn being the go-to aesthetic.

Niykee Heaton proudly flew the flag in this category with her topless “King” artwork, while Ellie Goulding and Miley also made solid contributions. The real heroes (?) however were rappers Rich Homie Quan, Nelly and JR Castro, who seemingly sourced images from porn shoots. The award for the grossest cover of the year goes to Russian dance outfit Serebro, who lifted misogyny to unsettling new heights with “Отпусти меня.”
