Watch Aretha Franklin Make President Obama Cry With Her Carole King Tribute

Aretha Franklin, Janelle Monáe, Miranda Lambert and more artists paid tribute to Carole King at last night’s Kennedy Center Honors concert in New York. And it was Franklin’s performance of her 1967 standard “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” which was co-written by King, that everyone’s still talking about today.

Decked out in a fur coat, Franklin started out behind the piano and began a rendition that left President Obama in tears. By the time she stood up and shed her coat for the big finale, she was already getting a standing ovation.
