Usher's 'Confessions' Turns 10
We look back on Usher's seminal 2004 album in our Backtracking series.

With no major competition in sight, Adele‘s third album 25 sits on top of the Billboard 200 for a sixth straight week after selling another 307,000 copies, bringing its 2015 year-end total to 7.44 million. As Billboard points out, this marks the biggest sales for any album in a calendar year since 2004, when Usher‘s R&B benchmark Confessions moved 7.98 million by December 31.

We’ll have to wait till later today to find out if 25‘s lead single “Hello” retains its hold on the top spot of the Hot 100 again, or if Justin Bieber‘s “Sorry,” which has been relegated to #2 since both singles were released on October 23 last year, finally bumps it off.

The Top 10 of the Billboard 200:

1. Adele, 25 *6 weeks*
2. Justin Bieber, Purpose
3. Twenty One Pilots, Blurryface
4. One Direction, Made In The A.M.
5. Fetty Wap, Fetty Wap
6. The Weeknd, Beauty Behind The Madness
