Guns N' Roses, LCD Soundsystem, Calvin Harris to headline.

Cyndi Lauper‘s “True Colors” single has been a pop staple since its 1986 release — but what happens when it’s rehashed in 2016? Today (January 5), Marina And The Diamonds premiered her take on the power ballad.

The Welsh singer’s version, which was reportedly supposed to be on a reissue of FROOT that never came to fruition (no pun intended), is even more stripped as Marina pushes the song’s emotion with delicate piano melody and her vocals that are dripping with melancholy.

Marina And The Diamonds is currently promoting her latest record, FROOT. It includes tracks like “Gold,” “Blue,” “I’m A Ruin,” “Froot,” “Forget” and “Immortal.” Get into her “True Colors” cover below.
