Our eyes and ears were first caught by Seattle-turned-New-York-turned-L.A.-based duo Cardiknox way back in 2013, when they released their movie-themed lyric video for catchy synth-pop gem “Technicolor Dreaming.” Since then, the pair — comprised of Lonnie Angle and Thomas Dutton — have set about recording their debut LP Portrait (due out in March) with producer John Shanks (Miley Cyrus, Take That).

Lonnie and Thomas switch gears from the ’80s fashion models that filled their lyric video for upbeat anthem “On My Way” and instead opt to show of their dancing skills in an official video for the song that was shot in L.A. all in one take. There’s no denying the fact that it seems someone involved along the way appears to have been inspired, at least partially, by Kiesza‘s similar 2014 clip for “Hideaway.” But that doesn’t make Cardiknox’s visual any less captivating.

Give “On My Way” a watch above.
