Travi$ Scott & DJ Mustard Tribute ’90s Dance On “Whole Lotta Lovin”: Listen

Travi$ Scott is known for his menacing trap demeanor, while DJ Mustard provides beats that embody the laid-back LA vibe. But when the two get together in the studio, one wouldn’t expect them to come up with…’90s dance??

Their “Whole Lotta Lovin'” collaboration dropped today (January 7) and finds the artists putting their own twist on classic pop/dance music. Scott enters the track with heavy Auto-tuned crooning over a vibrant house melody that samples — get this — CeCe Peniston‘s 1991 smash “Finally.” The end result is totally left-field, a splash of EDM and spot-on for the upcoming festival season.

Travi$ Scott is gearing to embark on Rihanna‘s ANTI World Tour next month, while DJ Mustard will be playing at Coachella. Get into “Whole Lotta Lovin'” below, and look out for its official premiere tonight at 12:30 p.m. on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 radio show.
