Frank Ocean Is Collaborating With Rich The Kid On…Something
Georgia rapper Rich The Kid posted a screenshot showing him FaceTiming with Frank Ocean last night (January 6). At first, the most notable thing about it was the fact that Ocean was rocking some serious scruff.

But once Rich deleted the posts, people began theorizing that maybe it was somehow related to Ocean’s top secret new album. So Hot New Hip Hop followed up with RTK, and he confirmed to them that the two are indeed collaborating. “We recording new music today,” he told the site. “We are in L.A. I’m here working with Wiz [Khalifa] and I called [Frank Ocean], he’s in the studio.”
For now, it’s just another vague plot point in the tale of Ocean’s Channel Orange follow-up. Or maybe it has nothing to do with that album at all. But hopefully that beard is a result of him being holed up in the studio all this time.
