2016 Grammy Nominations
Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and The Weeknd lead the 2016 Grammy nominations.

We can always count on Kendrick Lamar to deliver a pure and emotive performance, and he continued his streak during a Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance last night (January 7).

K. Dot proved just why he was unofficially crowned the Best Rapper of 2015 (even President Obama approves) by spitting a new song called “Untitled 2” — the follow-up to The Colbert Report’s “Untitled.” Backed by a melodic and jazzy band, self-dubbed “Cornrow Kenny” flowed so incredibly smooth while lyrically going bar for bar.

The rapper continues to promote his To Pimp A Butterfly album, as he recently dropped the “God Is Gangsta” short film that features tracks “u” and “For Sale?”

Watch his “Untitled 2” performance up top, and catch his interview below where he chats 2016 Grammy nominations and the chance of breaking Michael Jackson‘s record.
