Editorial: Farewell To David Bowie
Our take on the loss of pop and rock's one-of-a-kind, unrivaled chameleon.

David Bowie‘s tragic passing occurred two days ago, and support continues to outpour from artists spanning across all genres. Last night (January 11), EL VY — a project comprised of the National‘s Matt Berninger and Menomena‘s Brent Knopf — paid tribute the late icon on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The indie rockers and Colbert’s house band got into the groove with Bowie’s 1983 smash “Let’s Dance,” as they showed off their cruising vocals and slightly awkward but totally enjoyable dance moves alongside the live funk instruments (check out that huge keytar!)
