Adele‘s carpool karaoke appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden aired last night (January 13) and it was 15 minutes of cackles and goofy-yet-utterly-breathtaking singalongs. She tackled her own hits (with some harmonizing from the host) including “Hello,” “Someone Like You” and “Rolling In The Deep,” but the most entertaining parts came when they engaged in some chitchat and covered other artists’ songs.
Are you ready to see Adele chug the shit out of some tea? Because that happens, and soon after she raps the shit out of Nicki Minaj‘s “Monster” verse, rap hands and all. The 25 singer also dropped some trivia tidbits, revealing that she played the drums on “Hello” and that she had a Spice Girls birthday when she was 10 and Geri’s departure from the group was her first heartbreak. So naturally that led to a cover of “Wannabe.”
