Elohim made our 20 Artists To Watch In 2016 list, and the mysterious and frequently masked Los Angeles singer is kicking off the new year with a fresh single titled “Pigments.”

Released today (January 14), the tune rushes into the ears with a fervor that is both heartbreakingly melancholic and romantic. Lyrics like “I can’t make you love you” and “You can lead a horse to water but he may choose to die” are anchored by Elohim’s ethereal vocals and a soothing synth-based pop production complete with a weighty drum pattern.

“Pigments,” along with“Bridge And The Wall,” will be released on January 15 as an AA-side 12″ single via B3SCl Records. Get into Elohim’s latest effort below.
