British electronic pop duo AlunaGeorge are getting ready to release their sophomore album following 2013 debut Body Music. In an interview with Billboard, singer Aluna Francis and producer George Reid revealed some details about the new full-length, though they stopped short of giving a title and release date.

It’s shaping up to be a change of pace for the pair. For one thing, the new LP has a more collaborative approach, with production credits from Flume and ZHU (whom Francis worked with last year on “Automatic”). There’s even a Popcaan feature on lead single “I’m In Control,” which is out January 22.

And instead of doubling down on their debut’s alt-R&B and poptronica foundations now that rubbery digi-pop is the wave (it helped them score a hit with DJ Snake‘s “You Know You Like It” remix and they’ve teamed up with Skrillex, Diplo and Disclosure), Reid says they utilized more live instrumentation this time. Billboard even describes one song as a “Philadelphia soul-infused ballad.”

So, AlunaGeorge go Young Americans? We’ll have to wait until next Friday to hear.
