Cash Cash Call On Jacquie Lee For New Single “Aftershock”
Here’s an unlikely combination! Dance outfit Cash Cash is teaming up with Jacquie Lee for new single “Aftershock” (due January 29). It’s a little unexpected given The Voice alum’s (she was the season five runner-up) penchant for punchy pop/rock anthems and powerful ballads. However, she’s in good hands. The New Jersey trio has collaborated with artists as diverse as John Rzeznik (“Lightning”) and Busta Rhymes (“Devil”).
Cash Cash landed a well-deserved crossover hit in 2013 with Bebe Rexha-voiced dance anthem “Take Me Home.” It peaked at a very respectable number 57 on the Billboard Hot 100, but performed even better internationally — reaching the top 10 in Australia and the UK. Jacquie Lee released her debut EP Broken Ones in 2014 and found love on pop and HAC radio with the title track and Sia-penned follow-up “Tears Fall.”
