Natasha Bedingfield reinvents herself as a club queen on Basto’s (perhaps better known as Lazy Jay) “UNICORN.” The Belgian DJ shared a preview of track today (January 21) and it sounds like a distinctly uplifting affair. “If you’re lonely ’cause there’s no one the same, you’re not the only one who’s feeling this way,” the “Unwritten” hitmaker sings over sugary synths. “Who cares about the norm? You’ve been perfect from the day that you were born like a unicorn.”

There’s even an unexpected drop at the end of the chorus. It’s very Euro and more than a little camp, but I’m here for it! With any luck, 2016 will see the release of Natasha’s long-overdue fourth LP. The Brit has been working on The Next Chapter since 2012 with a seemingly endless list of collaborators that include Naughty Boy and Tinie Tempah. She briefly reemerged early last year with charity single “Hope.” Listen to a preview of her dance detour below.
